Joys

Today it was a joy to be home, snug, cozy and warm at home while the rain fell, heavily at times, more softly in others. The numerous little joys added up to a lovely day, the reading of my book, the going through of emails in my bedroom, the cozy feel of the living room with the snug feel of my bedroom. Cuddling my cat, his soft silky fur, and cute spongy nose as I petted him. A new book arriving today, the anticipation of the meditations and writing from it. A looking up of a potential graduate program added to the options of going forward within writing. These little things, enjoyed, savored, added up into a wonderful enjoyable day, one that I'll remember closely.
